What Data We Collect

We collect three categories of data:

• Analytics data: Anonymised page views, referring URLs, broad device type and country (no precise location). We use this to understand which reviews readers find useful.
• Contact form submissions: Name and email address when you submit a contact form, plus the message itself. Used only to respond to your enquiry.
• Comment data: If we enable comments on a review, your name, email address and the comment text. Email addresses are not displayed publicly.

We do not collect payment information directly. Where outbound affiliate links lead to publisher storefronts, that storefront handles its own payment processing under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and Tracking

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies (login session, comment author preferences) keep the site functional. Analytics cookies are anonymised and aggregated – we cannot identify individual readers from analytics data.

Some affiliate links set a cookie when clicked – this is how the publisher attributes the referral if you make a purchase. You can decline these cookies through your browser’s settings without losing access to the rest of the site.

How We Use Data

Analytics data informs editorial decisions. Contact form data is used only to respond to your message. Comment data appears on the review page where you posted it.

We do not sell personal data, do not share it with advertisers and do not use it for targeted advertising. Affiliate networks may collect their own data after you click an outbound link – their privacy policies apply at that point.

How Long We Keep Data

Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months after resolution, then deleted. Analytics data is retained for 26 months in aggregated form. Comments remain on the site indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of any data we hold about you, ask us to delete it or ask for corrections. Email privacy @ cpd648 . com (remove the spaces) and we will respond within 30 days.

If you posted a comment under your real name and want it removed, the same email address is the fastest path.

Changes to This Policy

We update this page when our data handling practices change. The current version is dated at the top. Material changes are flagged in the home page footer for at least 30 days.
